Ali & Christine

Luxe Entertainment's story started at a wedding at Maggiano's in Philadelphia.

Christine was there celebrating with her family, and somewhere in the middle of an Italian restaurant filled with wedding guests, her path crossed with Ali's.

What started with meeting at a family wedding eventually became a marriage, a business, and a shared passion for creating unforgettable celebrations.

Today, Ali and Christine are the wife-and-wife team behind Luxe Entertainment — bringing together two very different backgrounds that complement each other beautifully.

Ali: Quiet Until It's Go Time

Ali's journey into entertainment started in college, when she discovered college radio — and, unexpectedly, a voice of her own.

Growing up, Ali was the quiet and calm one. She wasn't necessarily the person you'd expect to end up behind a microphone, commanding a dance floor. But college radio gave her something she'd never really had before: a platform.

Listeners began tuning in online from all over, and Ali became fascinated by the connection she was creating. She started interviewing music artists, not just to talk about their music, but to learn their stories, their inspiration, and their why.

Eventually, that love of music and connection led Ali to buy her own mobile DJ equipment and build a business around DJing. And she discovered something that still defines her today:

She's quiet — until it's go time.

Ali's naturally calm energy helps put people at ease, but when the music starts and it's time to bring the room together, she turns up. She found that the person who once thought of herself as quiet could create an incredible amount of joy, energy, and connection for everyone around her.

More than 17 years later, that's still what drives her — watching a room transform, seeing strangers become friends, and creating those moments where everyone can let loose and celebrate together.

Christine: The Hospitality Heart

Christine brings a different kind of expertise to Luxe: a career built around taking care of people. And fittingly, she literally has Hart in her name.

Her hospitality background began in the kitchen as a chef and continued through roles as a server and dining coordinator, including experience in five-star hotels and catering environments. Along the way, she learned that exceptional hospitality isn't just about getting the details right — it's about anticipating needs, making people feel comfortable, and creating an experience that feels effortless.

That expertise is woven into every interaction at Luxe, from the first conversation to the final song of the night. It's in the way we communicate, the way we listen, the way we anticipate what our clients need, and the way we care for the people we're trusted to celebrate with.

Because for Christine, hospitality isn't just part of her professional background. It's part of how Luxe serves every client.

And yes, the Hart in her name may be a coincidence — but the heart she brings to Luxe definitely isn't.

From One DJ to a Luxe Experience

Luxe started with one DJ: Ali.

But as the vision grew, so did the idea of what an event could be. We realized that great entertainment isn't simply about having someone press play and keep the music going. It's about creating an experience.

That's what led Luxe to grow from one DJ into a collective of talented entertainers — DJs, live musicians, and specialists who bring different skills, personalities, and energy to the table.

We don't believe every celebration needs the same formula. Sometimes it's an incredible DJ who knows exactly when to turn up the room. Sometimes it's a bilingual DJ who can move seamlessly between cultures and generations. Sometimes it's live saxophone, electric violin, interactive entertainment — or something completely unexpected.
